Students Can Now Receive Their Digital High School Certificates

PHNOM PENH: Students who have just passed the 2022 high school baccalaureate exam can now download their provisional high school certificate through a standard QR Code verified through verify.gov.kh.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications have jointly launched the digital provisional high school certificates for students who took the 5 December 2022 exam, which they can access using a standard QR Code. This provisional certification is being provided to students to make it easier for them to prepare for exams and apply for university. It is also not necessary to legalize a copy of the provisional certificate in paper form, as it was before.

The two ministries have developed a digital system in order to be able to verify authenticity, integrity and validity through the website: verify.gov.kh. This is in accordance with the recommendations of Prime Minister Hun Sen, and is a new step in promoting the digital revolution of ministries and state institutions in line with the Cambodian Digital Economic and Social Policy Framework and the Cambodian Digital Government Policy.

In order for students to receive this digital certificate, they can go to the Telegram channel, “TemporaryBacIICertificateBot" and fill in some necessary information, or they can go to the Department of Education, Youth and Sports.

For more information, students can call the hotline: 123 (toll free).
